Hi all Just wondered if any one takes multi vitamins or anything else that they finds helps. I take fish oil and vit d but Ive been so tired with this recent flare and wondered whether i should take some thing to help, i know they take a while to get into your system. Love Lou xx I love people who can make you smile even when you do not feel like smiling. x

Hi Lou - sorry to hear you're feeling extra tired - listen to your body and make sure you're getting plenty of good quality rest, try not to worry and make sure you're eating really well - lots of yummy fruit and fish. Check that you're not anaemic and give yourself time with relaxation exercises. Hope today is a better day Sylvia xx Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

hi, as said have bloods checked, i used to take multi vits with iron but stopped as not sure they were helping,i now have completely changed my way with food i dont eat fish at all but do use olive oil for most cooking jobs i dont eat chips either but i do eat loads of fruit and veg raw or cooked,i cut back on the stodge foods and now feel i have more energy levels but i still get slow days, its trial and error,i get sluggish if i have bread or starchy foods to often worth a thought, this time of year the body wants to have a nap most days,do blood first and talk to gp or rhumy, dorothy

Hi Louise Another thing that can affect the fatigue is vitamin D. We do not process it well due to the RA. I was prescribed some Vit D tablets called Alpha One and I swear they have improved (not completely cured) the fatigue. Angie Be yourself - everyone else is taken. XX

Thank you for your advice. Still poorly and tired, discussed the fatigue with my RA nurse and she is going to arrange an appointment to see her in November to review all my medication, may have to have a change of plan. Signed off for another two weeks! Take Care Lou xxx I love people who can make you smile even when you do not feel like smiling. x

Iron really helps me because I always seem to be low in red blood cells. If your inflammation is high this will make your fatigue worse.
I think we all have to realise that our bodies are fighting a serious disease 24 hours a day and that takes alot of energy out of us, which is why it is really important to rest in between activity. My batteries are always feeling low and just doing anything wipes me out, we just have to learn to pace ourselves and not take on too much.
Best wishes Rebecca
